I am Ronald Conn III, a deeply intuitive artist and soul guide, devoted to helping others navigate the rich landscapes of their inner worlds. I believe that mysticism, altered states of consciousness and the various tools related to meditation should be available to everyone, and are far more accessible than people realize.
I have dedicated my life to understanding meditation, altered states of consciousness and mystic practices from both the eastern and western traditions, with an emphasis on marrying this knowledge with modern science.
My role is to serve as a soul mirror, an artist, oracle, and interpreter of symbols.
Beyond the Veil of the Self
For much of my life, I wandered these dreamscapes, lost in the beauty and complexity of my own visions, unaware of the deeper wisdom they held. I found meditation early and attempted to apply it to various problems in my life. My journey of studying mysticism, psychedelics, neuroscience, altered states of consciousness, eastern and western esotericism and more was ultimately a quest to fill a need that I could not identify.
Our culture is in desperate need of a revitalization and, most importantly, a serious modernization and adaptation of mystical and esoteric practices that respects modern culture, science and technology. Without these tools, I believe we will steer our own culture right off of a cliff. I believe in making meditation, mystic practices and altered states of consciousness easy to understand, accessible and, most importantly, applicable to ordinary life.
I believe that there are very practical, grounded tools and approaches that allow anyone to learn how to focus their awareness and alter their state of consciousness at will, fundamentally reconnecting them to the invisible world of energy, consciousness and spirit. It has always existed, and through that connection, and through the disciplined application of simple practices, a person can profoundly change their life, just like I have.
There is a Vastness Within You
Deep within each of us lies a vast and intricate universe: the realm of the psyche, the astral, the spiritual. Throughout the ages, this inner domain has been known by many names, yet its eternal truth endures.
In today's materialistic world, dominated by reductionist thinking, we have become disconnected from this sacred inner realm, a repository of ancient wisdom and forgotten knowledge. Yet it remains an integral part of our being, linking us all as complex patterns of being within the larger tapestry of the divine.
At Orpheus Veiled, we do not seek to replace science or psychology; rather, we aim to integrate them. Our approach honors the holistic nature of existence, integrating the inner and outer realms to foster a deeper understanding of ourselves and the universe we inhabit.
What I Believe
I'll say it plainly, so you know what you're getting into.
Altered states of consciousness give us access to a layer of intelligence that is ordinarily unavailable to the thinking mind: the intuitive, the symbolic, the realm of dream and imagination. I believe it is a source of deep ancestral wisdom, and a way to reach tacit knowledge and experiential wisdom that is difficult to extract through thinking.
I believe we reincarnate, and that this work can draw on the larger soul, which holds the context of every life we have ever lived.
And I believe these states open onto a shared, communal well, a collective unconscious. In theory any knowledge is accessible there. In practice, what arrives is what benefits our current existence. There is an intelligence to what we're given: precisely what we need to move forward.
